Stake Bot Strategies: Progression, Stop-Loss & Session Rules

Stake bot strategies are sets of rules that tell automation software what to do after each result. Common settings include base stake, win/loss progression, stop-losses, profit targets and session limits.

Base stake

The base stake is the starting wager. It should be considered together with the maximum stake and the size of any progression steps.

Win and loss progression

A progression changes later stakes according to previous results. Increasing a stake after losses increases exposure and does not guarantee recovery. The strategy changes execution, not the mathematical expectation of the game.

Stop-loss rules

A stop-loss ends automation after a defined loss threshold. It is a risk-control mechanism and should be configured before a session starts.

Profit targets

A profit target can stop a session after a selected gain. It does not make future sessions profitable, but it can prevent an automated session from continuing indefinitely.

Session limits

  • Maximum loss
  • Maximum profit
  • Maximum stake
  • Maximum duration
  • Maximum consecutive losses
